My Background

J Kevin Giglio MD

Dr. J Kevin Giglio is a graduate of St. Thomas High School and Rice University, who subsequently attended the University of Texas at Houston Medical School. He then went on to serve as a chief resident at the Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program before graduating and becoming a Board Certified Family Physician. Since that time he has been providing care to patients of all ages since 1989 in the Houston area, and has had the distinct privilege to serve as a chief of staff at Memorial Hermann Greater Heights and a member of the Memorial Hermann Medical Doctors board. A proud product of the Shepherd Park Plaza community, he has made it his life's work to provide high quality health care in the Houston area on a daily basis for over 30 years. Empowered and motivated by his connection to his patients, he plans to continue to serve the community both near and far for many years to come. Happy to serve patients of all ages, he continues to see patients for a multitude of illnesses and medical conditions both acute and chronic.

Michael Giglio MD

Dr. Michael Giglio is a graduate of St. Thomas High School and the Univerity of Notre Dame who followed in his father's footsteps in choosing a career in medicine. He attended the University of Texas at Houston Medical School (now called McGovern Medical School) and subsequently the Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program, where he had the privilege to serve as a chief resident as well. He is board certified as a Family Physician, and is honored to join and grow Elevate Health with his father. He hopes to welcome in new patients and families and continue to provide the high level of care that his father has provided for so many years before him.  He is happy to care for patients of all ages for their various health care needs, but has special interests in sports medicine, diabetic care, women's health, and office based procedures. He looks forward to meeting you!

Max Schimelpfenig MD

Dr. Max Schimelpfenig believes that high-quality primary care begins with a foundation of mutual trust and an ongoing commitment to health and well being. His practice emphasizes lifestyle and preventative medicine to encourage healthy living choices that can either prevent or reverse medical problems. He provides comprehensive care for acute and chronic conditions that range from the common cold to diabetes and high blood pressure. After earning his undergraduate humanities degree with highest honors, he then received his medical degree from the Texas Tech School of Medicine and completed his clinical training at Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Schimelpfenig has received the following honors and awards: Highest ranking Graduate in the Texas Tech Honors College, Texas Tech Department of Family Medicine Outstanding Student Award, Outstanding Third-year Resident in Behavioral Medicine, and Resident Teaching Excellence Award (outstanding third-year resident as a leader and teacher). Outside of the office, he enjoys reading, playing tennis, watching the grand slams, and traveling.
