FAQ
Common questions and concerns
Do you have any COVID protocols in place?
We are fully operational at this time and seeing patients in clinic. We do ask that if you are feeling unwell that you wear a mask when entering the clinic, but others patients are free to choose as per their preference whether they wear a mask or not. We continue to work to minimize wait times, sanitize each room after the visit has concluded, and have social distancing procedures in place to keep everyone safe. We are also pleased to offer telemedicine appointments for a number of select conditions. If you have any additional questions, please contact the clinic.
Do you have the COVID Vaccine?
Unfortunately we do not carry the COVID vaccine in clinic at this time, however we are able to provide information and locations of a variety of nearby facilities who do carry the vaccine.
Do you perform COVID swabs?
We obtain our COVID swabs through the local labs, and do not perform any in house testing. However we are happy to evaluate you and order the test as needed.
What ages do you see?
We are happy to see patients of all ages! We truly believe that family medicine is about caring for not just individuals but families and the communities that make them. As such we are proud to care of patients from the day they are born until the day they pass, and enjoy the challenges that each step provides along the way.
Can I get a same-day appointment?
Part of the challenge in our ever changing world is having access to a doctor you know and trust when you need them most. Part of the vision of Elevate Health and our doctors is to enable patients to see a doctor who knows them and their unique situation well the same day, as we think that relationship allows for better care. With the recent expansion of our practice, we are happy to report that we can now offer same day appointments.
Will my insurance cover my visit?
We are happy to accept a number of insurance plans and policies. Please contact the office at 713-862-4963 to verify if your insurance is covered. If you do not have insurance, we have a cash pay system in place and can provide an estimate over the phone.
Do you have any affiliations?
We are proud affiliates of the Memorial Hermann Hospital System, and coordinate with them to obtain rapid care and imaging for our patients as the needs arise. We are located right next to Memorial Hermann Greater Heights and have connections with many of the doctors who work there and in the area as well.
Do I need to pay for parking?
No our facility does not have any paid parking. There is free parking around the building, although we suggest parking either up front or along the right hand side as you enter as these are the shortest walks to our office. We are located in the front left corner of the building.
Do you have lab or x-ray?
Unfortunately at this time we do not have in house lab or x-ray. We hope to one day provide this service, but at this time utilize the imaging facility next door at the hospital and a number of labs located in the area.
Where are your patients from?
Although we are located in the Greater Heights area and right on the border of Garden Oaks and Oak Forest, we are happy to serve patients and families from all across the Houston area. We feel honored to have earned their business over these many years, and look forward to continuing to provide high quality healthcare to all of those who come to see us
What languages do you speak?
Our primary language is English although some of our staff speak Spanish as well. If you require additional languages, we utilize Language Line Solutions and the over 300 languages covered by their service to address the needs of the remainder of our patients
